One-on-One Executive Coaching

Your Higher Power has another message for you…

The world of status pulls the wool over your eyes –
You must succeed at all costs for you to belong.
Your credentials and assets are calling cards for
A sense of purpose, a sense of worth.

What does succeeding really mean to you –
To deny failing into the pit of deep dark?
Who’s hiding behind this veil of success, but
A frightened little girl without her true north.

What if a miracle dissolves the wool,
Vision restored where fear has no place, that
Love is the only value that ever was and is,
The only Truth you’d ever need to live?

This holy unveiling will liberate you to
A life of meaning and purpose ever so full.
To grace a kinder, gentler human tour,
Success is but to be, to give Love ever so True.

…to take my helping hand to get you out of your current predicament.

You’re objectively successful, having achieved your career goals. You’re proud of what you’ve been able to overcome to get to where you are.

Yet, deep down, you’re fighting a growing unrest of having hidden parts of yourself to perpetuate this outward picture of success. These hidden parts long to be expressed, seen, and heard. There’s a fuller you begging to be unleashed for an even bigger game.

It gets lonelier and lonelier as this inner voice of discontent gets louder and louder each day. But who really gets you or what you’re going through?

You can’t just blow up your successful life in the name of exploring what you’ve hidden. Not just from others, but from yourself.

You aren’t crazy for feeling what you may not even be able to articulate fully – and safely. The risks are scary as heck! The big, dark unknown is frightening!

Let me assure you that I’ve been where you are. Your current situation is untenable, and you do not have to continue to live with it.

You either don’t know what to do, or you’ve tried other means of getting relief, but they haven’t quite worked out. Your honesty with yourself that you need help is truly commendable.

And I may very well be able to help. To decide whether to take my hand…

…here are five critical points of connection between us for you to get relief from working with me… (You can read more about each in detail on the Our Work Together page.)

We are both spiritual…

We may or may not share a common or similar spiritual orientation. What we do share is the belief that in spiritual truth lies effective and lasting solutions to our problems. Our work together is to find you that truth to get you out of your unrest/pain – efficiently and effectively.

We own and are fully accountable for our parts of the relationship…

My part in this relationship is to help you access wisdom and answers to get efficient and effective relief, always meeting you with compassion and understanding. Your part is to own 100% of your transformation and be fully accountable for the results. I can guide you, but I can’t do it for you.

We don’t make excuses…

We both commit to showing up fully during each session in every way, not just physically. Be mindful of busyness showing up as legitimate excuses to avoid the work. Remember that you reap what you sow.

We both stay curious with a beginner’s mind…

We want to ensure we’re solving the real problem and not just a symptom. Also, we need to head off the accomplished, experienced executive getting in the way of what might be the best solution. Not knowing as a starting point creates space for innovative breakthroughs and creative problem-solving.

We are willing to be real with each other…

To get you out of your current predicament, we need to drop our defenses. And the masks we wear to protect our vulnerabilities. I can’t help you if you don’t let me see really what’s going on. I’ll provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to meet and disarm your resistance, keeping you trapped in pain.

Let’s talk a little more about what coaching looks and feels like…

These are my responsibilities to you as a coach (from the International Coaching Federation)…

I’ll help you discover, clarify, and align myself with what you want to achieve.

Our work together begins with getting super clear about where you are and where you hope to be, including why you want that and what getting to your desired state would truly give you. As your coach, my job is to walk with you as your guide to your desired state. Like you’d expect from any tour guide, I have a bag of tools to support you on this journey.

I’ll encourage you to embark on a journey of self-discovery.

Emotional pain only tells you what hurts but rarely fully confesses why or the real source(s) of pain. To achieve lasting relief, we must gut the root cause(s). Otherwise, we’re simply treating the wound for temporary relief. The symptoms – numbness, simultaneously feeling stressed and bored, feeling no amount of success seems enough to fill the void – are guaranteed to recur.

I’ll help you through this journey of self-discovery to uncover the real culprit(s) of your pain and send it/them packing!

I’ll help you generate your own solutions and strategies.

As said above, I’ll join you in this juncture of your journey to get to your desired state. But the idea is not for you to depend on me indefinitely. I’ll show you how to access wisdom and answers on your own at any time. That way, you have full agency to meet new challenges long after our agreement is over.

I’ll hold you responsible and accountable for achieving your coaching goals.

Again, you hold 100% ownership of and accountability for achieving what you hope to get from working with me. One of my key roles as your coach is to hold you to this commitment to yourself. I want you to get full value out of working with me toward a more satisfying and fulfilling life as the wholly magnificent leader you were born to be!

Here’s the process of working with me, step by step…

Step 1 – Discovery session

This is a complimentary session (typically about 45 minutes) for me to learn more about you and what you may be struggling with. This is also the opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have.

If you’re ready to work with me, we can discuss the day/time for your first session. I’ll hold that space for you until you have accepted the coaching agreement. That’s the next step.

Step 2 – Coaching agreement

Our coaching agreement will outline our work together, the duration of our coaching relationship, and the terms and conditions (including billing and cancelation policies).

If you have any questions as you review this agreement, I’m happy to address them. Otherwise, once you accept the agreement, it officially kicks off our coaching relationship! If we haven’t done so already, we’ll schedule our first session.

Step 3 – Your first session

Our meetings will take place online via Zoom. If necessary, we can discuss meeting at your office (e.g., if I’m coaching you and several of your colleagues at the same time). We’ll meet at a mutually agreed-upon time during business hours, and I’ll reserve that same day and time for you each week.

I’ve found that the online environment offers several benefits. It gives you a comfortable, confidential environment free of distractions; affords you flexibility in scheduling; and saves you the time, money, and stress associated with commuting.

During our first session, we’ll delve deeper into what you shared in our discovery session. With that, we’ll lay out a plan for the work we will be doing together.

This plan will give you a sense of what each subsequent session will entail. We’ll review it quickly at the start of every session to ensure it’s still relevant and leads you to achieve your objectives.

Step 4 – All other sessions

From our second session on, we will be executing the plan we’ve agreed on together. We’ll meet on a weekly basis.

At the start of each session, we’ll quickly review the plan and make adjustments based on where you are that day. Life is fluid. It doesn’t stand still for us just because we have a plan! We can make adjustments while still meeting your objectives and serving your highest good.

Also, as it often happens, what you thought you wanted at the start might very well change! I’ll warn you: It might feel unsettling, but, trust me, it’s perfectly normal.

Step 5 – Closing session

We’ll wrap up our work together, reflect on the journey, review lessons learned, and celebrate!

Spoiler alert: It will be amazing!

This may be the end of our work together, or you might want more time with me. In that case, we’ll extend our relationship with a new agreement (you may realize that before the closing session).

Getting you the results you’re looking for…

Accomplished female executives often seek coaching to reach the next level of success, even if they don’t know what that looks like or how to get there.

Sometimes, it’s because you haven’t clarified what defines that “next level.” Other times, you need help eliminating the obstacles that are keeping you in place. Most often, though, it’s both.

According to objective research and from my own experience, many female executives climb the corporate ladder with values and success metrics that don’t align with their own and what’s really important to them. That’s why they burn out, get disenfranchised, and/or feel increasingly alone.

I’ll help you peel back the layers of what you “should” want to feel successful and replace them with definitions of success that feel good to you. For instance, instead of continuing to accept the conventional understanding of success; i.e., titles, compensation, net worth, awards, etc., I have redefined it to align with my core values of love and integrity.

Of course, getting to the new definition of success isn’t always straightforward. Women with a well-developed intellect and analytical abilities often are unaware of the blocks keeping them from seeing what truly makes them happy. Using techniques to access your subconscious mind, I can help you reveal and eliminate obstacles keeping you from achieving that next level of success you truly want, not what you think you should want.

Perhaps you can relate to Pat’s story…

Pat* had risen through the ranks to be CEO.

She had even been recognized as a top female chief executive, leading one of the fastest-growing companies in North America.

She had hit all her career goals but wondered, “Is this it??” She thought she’d feel much more excited. But she just felt “flat.”

When she was chasing her career goals, she never stopped to ask why she wanted to achieve them. They were “just what business leaders want.”

Now that she had reached the peak, she was essentially seeking permission to ask if that’s what she really wanted… not just what she was supposed to want.

She needed help facing this truly scary place of the unknown.

What could happen if she allowed herself to inquire what’s next for her?

What could be lurking that might turn her well-controlled, objectively successful life upside down?

Does she really have the courage to look at all that?

The beckoning of this gigantic black hole was scaring the living daylights out of her! Her well-honed, executive prowess was of no use here.

She needed an understanding, skillful, and compassionate hand to hold her.

I want you to know that you’re in good hands here…

Addressing big career and life questions like Pat’s, while scary, is very achievable. I’m here to help.

You don’t have to wonder if achieving objective success but still feeling unfulfilled is the only life you get to have. The answer is NO!!!
